I love using words to create my own worlds, the adventures and people in them - it is as simple as that!

The Lord of the Rings - stayed with me from then on as a favourite read. I was delighted that the Peter Jackson film version didn't spoil it for me and I'm looking forward to The Hobbit.

It didn't take that long as most of the creative decisions about how to approach the book were decided while writing FS and SP - so about three months spread over six to eight months.

I don't play favourites with my literary offspring! I fall in love with each as I write a book for them.
